Second, modern directors and producers just have to insert a car chase into every scene. Look at what they did to The Hobbit. I'm with you on this. As cool in many ways as it would be to see remakes of some of the classics, they'd change them so much, there would be no point. Adding car chases, or fighting, or a love scene or showing tits for no reason, just to make the movie more edgier.

If they could make it pretty much exactly as it was made the first time, just with new actors, that would be wicked. I mean, look at Willy Wonka vs Charlie and the chocolate factory. I know they're meant to be different, but my god, so horrible. I love Johnny Depp, but that film was just a big fat no.

Creature of the Black Lagoon should be remade. That scared the crap out of me as a kid.

The "Thing" remake with Curt Russell is still my favorite creature feature of all time.

War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise was a definite improvement over original.

Great Gatsby was not as good as original with Robert Redford.

My favorite musical is Camelot. It would be worth a remake. But musicals don't do well now days.

It's not a remake and fury road looks like it's going to be rad as hell. It's also written and directed by the original creator.

I love sci fi too...rad huh....

But if it comes on tv I will watch...

But this movie reminds me of Kevin Costner's waterworld...a possible career pausing nightmare

Tina turner was in the third movie. The third one was pretty shitty. The first one was totally different and doesn't seem to even belong to the max max trilogy even though it's the original. This new one looks like it's staying in the same vein as the second and most popular mad max movie called the road warrior. The road warrior is one of my favorite action movies ever.
