I just watched Mr. Mercedes Season 2. I have to say that this was a huge letdown after the amazing first season.

They should have ended it after the one season.

Just watched the first episode of this. I absolutely loved it. I think it's up to season 3 now so I have some catching up to do. Pretty long but it was like a movie. Great stuff.

I've been eyeing both it and the Bernard Cornwell novels it's based on but haven't bitten yet. I wish someone would pick up his Arthurian trilogy for TV. Very grounded, historically based version of the legends. Even has some cheeky scenes around the narrator (a Saxon who ended up in Arthur's infantry for reasons) being asked to embellish things to create the mythology we know.

Tonight Always Sunny in Philadelphia was amazing and touching....
It still had its usual humor but the ending was oh my gahhhhh... I literally teared up.
I don’t want to ruin anything but if you love the show like I do you definitely don’t want to miss this episode ❤️?

I'm absolutely hooked on it. Just binged watched the first season and I loved it. I hope the 2nd season is just as good. Brilliant. Highly recommended!

The 2nd season is as good if not better - and the 1st season was very good indeed. Fantastic adaptation of a series by a wonderful historical storyteller.
Being unwell has its perks. I have just found a super trashy reality TV show... Catfish. OMG This is amazing...

I just binge watched the last season in 4 days... I need to read the books now or watch it again ...
I'm just going to take a moment to jump for joy because Agents of Shield has been renewed for a season 7 before the first episode of season 6 has even aired

After all the nail-biting, last second renewals, it's nice to have news super early. I suspect it's the first move in a strategy to draw the fanbase over to the streaming service, which will probably involve more concrete crossover with the movies and potentially the Netflix series.
I just watched Knightfall.

It was made by the History Channel (like Vikings) so I was expecting it to be of equal quality. Unfortunately it was not. The actual story of the Templars and how they were accused of blasphemy and burned at the stake is a great dramatic story. But as per usual, the show has to cater to to dummies who only know about "the holy grail" and all that bullshit.

It's still a decent show. But it could have been better.

6.5/10

I just watched the first episode of Dirty John. The reviews are pretty bad but I expect them to rise with each episode. Bravo messed up by releasing this weekly instead of putting it all out at once for streaming.

I watched the first episode and then listened to all 6 hours of the original podcast.
Watched the first season (only 4 episodes) of Castlevania on Netflix. It's basically a prologue to the longer second season, setting up the characters and setting. Never really played the videogames that inspired but enjoying the show quite a bit. Their Dracula is an interesting character, the hero follows a fairly Campbellian hero's journey but it's handled well, and it ends by setting up a "band of heroes fighting evil" scenario for season two.

I think it's still probably better than every movie based on a video game.

Anyone else enjoy a little reality television show called Catfish??

I watched a bunch of them with my daughter until we burned oout on them. They're good, and the hosts are generally caring, but they all have the same EXACT plot, and there are only like four possible outcomes (one of them lied, the other one lied, they both lied, neither of them lied).

It started out SO GOOD! First season rocked, I even loved the first 2/3rds of the second season. But the ending was a huge dissapointment. It was like they just gave up.

I love the show! Ha. Sometimes the endings are brilliant! My guilty pleasure trashy TV

I still haven't seen Nev's original one! Ha. He is super handsome. I might have to contact them to see if I can spend a few days with him in a hotel

Started to watch this last night. I really enjoyed it so watched two episodes. It has quite the depressive mood to it and reminds me of Sharp Objects. Hope it continues to be as good.

That wouldn't take much . It's a genre I normally avoid but I heard the good buzz on this one and I'm a sucker for vampires (to the point where it's actually weird that I haven't written a vamp story for here, yet).

Even I think Nev is handsome. My daughter loves him.

I sometimes stop watching it but then as soon as I do watch it again, I can’t stop watching lol ?... I hadn’t watched in months and then Miss SweetasCandy couldn’t stop talking about it for a few days and here I am again addicted... AGAIN ??
Just finished Netflix's, The Kominsky Method. If you like Micheal Douglas, Alan Arkin, Nancy Travis, and a whole bunch of other famous actors and familiar faces who's names you may not know or remember, then you may enjoy this show. It's a dark comedy-something-or-other of Chuck Lorre's. I really, really wanted to love it, but I just really liked it. Fortunately, it was only eight, sub-30 minute episodes. I think they'll put some spit and polish into this for season 2, if it gets renewed.

Still trying to watch Bates Motel, but it's a show that I struggle to want to watch. After each episode, I feel like I'm forcing myself to watch it. Can't have that. Not sure if I'll continue with the rest of season one.

I don't hear a lot of people talking about Blackish on ABC, but I really enjoy that show. I love all of the characters. The cast is fabulous. And the themes are dark, sometimes eye opening, but always really well done from many different perspectives, but usually from a parent's. I've never been a fan of Anthony Anderson's, and even in this show, he's probably near the bottom of the list of characters I like. But I do give him credit for allowing/enabling/IDK the rest of the cast. He shines because everyone else shines so much brighter. Cool fact: The actor that plays his wife, Tracee Ellis Ross, is Diana Ross's daughter.

Has anyone watched, or do they watch, Canada's Worst Driver?

My God. I can't believe these people are on our roads.

My son and I used to watch it. It was funny at the time but with some of the driving I see around here...yeah, it's actually a bit scary.

On the up side, my son has turned out to be a fairly good driver (so far) so maybe it had a positive impact?

I started watching Vikings last week. Wow... that Travis Fimmel. Those eyes are enough to turn the most sweetest girl wicked.
Eagerly awaiting the next series of Peaky blinders
Simply the best series the BBC made

I just watched the whole season of the Kominsky Method. I loved Alan Arkin's character. The whole thing seemed like a bit of a passion project. The dialogue was great but it had the tone of a darkly comedic funeral.

Is it classed as an obsession if I start the whole of The Last Kingdom from season 1 again?
