Django Unchained
Les Miserables
Zero Dark Thirty
Skyfall
Can't think of any others that I enjoyed.
Django Unchained and Skyfall. . .I haven't really seen that many movies.
id make a list but I tend to watch movies after they're out for a year or two, or see movies that have been out for ten years, I'm not sure what I watched this year that actually came out this year lol
but I saw the artist months ago which was great
Skyfall,
Dark Knight Rises
American Reunion
Ted
"To love another person is to see the face of God".....I hope the acadamy dosnt disapoint me this year...and award a movie like "Ted" best pic....i mean come on all three LOTR movie's should have been best pic not just "return of the king".....anyway,Les Misarables to me anyway is the best pic of the year!!!!!....i loved how we got to see the grit and dirt of the terrible things that happen to Fantine...really got to feel her pain....what an oscar winning performance Anne Hathaway did!!!! I have been waiting to see this musical in movie form sence 1992 well worth the wait!!!
In the last three weeks I have seen Les Misérables and Life of Pi, both were brilliant but as a film Les Misérables just edges it for me.
However Life of Pi as a novel is well up there in my top five, a fantastic and beautifully written story that had me riveted to it every day until the end. It made me appreciate the luxury of being able to enjoy a simple bottle on mineral water, something the film sadly missed.
For me this year films are:
1. Zero Dark Thirty
2. End of Watch
Thats it!
Loved Life of Pi, Lincoln, Les Mis, and a little known film called Moonrise Kingdom (a wonderful love story--the love between the two main characters but also the fatherly love the sheriff develops). Oh and Silver Linings Playbook, another great love story. Haven't seen Django yet.
Lincoln and Skyfall. I do want to see Argo as it has an impressive cast. Les Miz? I won't waste my money on it. I can't stand musicals.
The Hobbit! Not quite as epic as LotR, but amazing in it's own way, so looking forward to the next one!
