Art can never exist without naked beauty displayed.
In general I loathe musicals, but Singin' in the Rain is one of the exceptions.
Grease

Please check out my stories. <3
Phantom of the Opera - only one I've seen but I've been twice. Music of the night from that is simply amazing

Grease!!!! For sure!!!

Rock of Ages
West Side Story
I have so many that I love but here's a few:

Oklahoma
Meet Me In St.Louis
Grease
White Christmas
I`ve had the pleasure of watching a few productions but Rent, Wicked and The Lion King are among the most enjoyable.
Having seen only 2 musicals in my life (The Sound of Music, and Grease).... It is a difficult decision to make.
I've heard a great many things about West Side Story, but am yet to watch it.
Perhaps I have seen The Lion King, but I'm not sure.
After enough chit chat to let me decide, I would choose The Sound of Music :P
My old job allowed me to attend more musicals than I ever would have otherwise.

Avenue Q (least favorite)
Cabaret (started out great but lost interest as it went on)
Chicago (didn't get to see much because I was too busy)
Guys and Dolls (highly recommended)

But my personal favorite would be Little Shop of Horrors. The 1980's film is amazing but the stage performance is something different entirely. One really needs to see both to get the full experience.

There's probably one or two more that just aren't coming to mind right now.

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

Looking back, I see I picked West Side Story as my "all time favorite" earlier in the thread. That may now have been displaced for good by Les Miserables. Watched the film on the weekend and got blown away again (again because it happens every time I listen to the music after a break from it).
Kind of partial to The Wizard of Oz, if only because I find myself whistling the "If I Only Had A Brain" song quite frequently...

But also, Cabaret, Grease... and Fosse was great, although more of an anthology than a musical.
Anything by Sondheim, but especially Sweeny Todd - 'this is the tale of Sweeny Todd, he served a dark and a vengeful God, that's Sweeny, the demon barber of Fleet Street'. Lots of blood!
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Guys and Dolls, Saturday Night Fever, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Grease, Paint Your Wagon, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma. Order of like is closed to the list sequence but interchangeable depending on how recently I have seen them.
A determined person with perseverance can overcome many obstacles. They can, many times, perform better than those who are more intelligent, stronger and with better finances by determination and perseverance
South Pacific - recently revived was amazing to see again.
I have seen so many musicals it is impossible for me to decide which I liked best. "Music Man" was great, "Les Miserables" just for the music, "King and I" for the play itself and the incredible people who have played in it. But my personal favorite is "Fiddler on the Roof" because I played Tevye in it.
Cats!! A brilliant piece with a superb finale by Elaine Paige!!

I love Cats. The music is some of Sir Andrew's best. I caught a touring company years ago and it is a show that really has to be seen live. Only weakness is that it is a bit light on plot, just enough to hold things together. It is the music and dancing that really carries the show, though.
Rocky horror picture show and Cats....
I loved A Chorus Line, but it has to be The Jersey Boys.
Not exactly a Broadway musical..but one of my favourite movies is calamity jane
West side story and Wicked
West Side Story, South Pacific are the top two for me but there are some close seconds as well.
