The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.

After all the jacks are in their boxes,
and the clowns have all gone to bed,
you can hear happiness staggering on down the street,
footprints dressed in red.

And the wind whispers Mary.

A broom is drearily sweeping
up the broken pieces of yesterday's life.
Somewhere a Queen is weeping,
somewhere a King has no wife.

And the wind it cries Mary.

The traffic lights they turn blue tomorrow
And shine their emptiness down on my bed,
The tiny island sags downstream
'Cos the life that they lived is dead.

And the wind screams Mary.

Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past,
And with this crutch, its old age and its wisdom
It whispers, "No, this will be the last."

And The Wind Cries Mary.

I always loved this song, especially when I had a crush on a brown eyed girl.

I almost have an accident every time this song plays on the radio while I'm driving my car (very serious). Being a fucking lunatic sucks at times.

Not as early as some other songs here (1985), but a classic rock song nonetheless. I love the riff of this song, and Mark Knopfler is an amazing guitarist.

The fun starts at around 2:00.

Gary Moore is probably the most underrated guitarist ever. Under the right circumstances, he could easily have been a true guitar hero like Hendrix, Clapton or Page.

I think I jizzed in my pants.
