Dear Aunt Olivia:

I came from a military family. And because my dad was in the military, we moved every 18-24 months so I was constantly changing schools. He was gone more than he was home and when he deployed, mom made me dress like a girl. From the time I was only 5-6 my mom dressed me like a girl; wearing tights, skirts or dresses and so forth.

The first few times I went to a new school dressed up, it was scary and embarrassing. But by the time I entered junior high and high school, dressing up was normal for me and I wasn't teased as much as I was ignored.

College didn't get much but without my mom to make me shave my legs and wear pantyhose with a skirt or dress, I didn't do it as much. But after 15+ years of dressing like that, it's become essentially a natural part of my life. How does a straight man find a woman that will accept him dressing up like she does as normal and not feel repulsed or turned off.

I'd appreciate your thoughts Aunt Olivia …

With Respect,
