Longing has a power

That burns in my heart.

The physical distance is many miles.

But the virtual distance,

Is but when I speak your name,

breathed out on my lips.

As I conjure your vision,

I see your smile in my mind,

I watch again how you bite your lower lip,

As you blush, I long to hold you close.

I know these words will dance in your mind

And I shall take care not to tread on the blossom

That grows there in the subspace of your peace.

Today I glimpsed you!

And within me rose such a gift of life and power,

Yet, when I hear your voice,

I’m transported to distant lands of

Oasis in a desert.

No words can adequately express the beating of my heart

The joy in my soul

Or, the fire in my loins.
