Sorry for my ignorance...

I am new here so I apologise in advance.

My first story was published here (DISTURBIA). An attempt for me to lead it into something bigger which I am now working on.
HOWEVER, on the story page I have this alert;

"This story has been removed by and is being re-submitted for verification"

This appears in a red box at the top of the story page.
The funny thing is that it hasn't been removed or re-verified at all. It is still available to readers and is collecting votes. Not many, but some!

I'm not sure if I have done something wrong. Or if there is a bug in the system or whatever??
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Your story has been verified by a moderator and passed.

I don't know why you received that message. Unless - did you edit the story in any way whatsoever after it was submitted? If you did, the story gets removed from the site, and we have to re-verify it all over again, in case anything breaking our site guidelines was added.

Please let me know. If you didn't edit it, there's a bug in the system.

Hey you guys many thanks for clearing that up for me.
I have been away for a few days hence my late thanks here.

Once again, many thanks. I am currently finishing off another short story which I will post here.
