1. Yes, I have a passport and have had one for years.
2. I'm a Canadian and have travelled quite extensively throughout the continental USA, though there are a few Eastern states I haven't left my footprint in yet. Hope to someday. A couple of times I've been down to Mexico, but only to cross the border at places like Nogalas to do the shopping/tourist bit. I've never been further into Mexico.
3. No, I've never met anyone from this site yet. There are a few I would like to meet though. I think it would be very interesting to put a 'face' to a name and avatar. A few years ago, through instant messaging in AOL, I picked up a couple at Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix, Arizona and drove them down to Tucson, a distance of about 100 miles (160 Km). They were a wonderful couple and I had a fantastic time on our trip. Enjoyed every second and hated to see the trip end. We kept in touch with each other for quite a while, but finally lost contact.
If you're feeling bored during this Covid-19 epidemic I’d like to suggest
you take a peek at a story I collaborated with SueBrasil, a brilliant author.
It's about a mistake in judgment a lady makes concerning a friend, based
on the hurtful words of someone that only thinks of himself. Will that
conniving person succeed in ruining a beautiful friendship, or will she see
through his lies? It's gradually creeping up towards the 30,000 mark
and we’d love any votes or hearing whatever comments you may wish
to make. It is listed in my profile under ‘FAVOURITES’ as Apologize.
I have been packing a passport for a few decades now. We used to travel at least a couple times a year pre-COVID. Have visited many European countries, many parts of China (wife is Chinese so we can combine tourism with visiting my in-laws), plenty of the USA, some Latin American countries, plus we've done lots of resorts and cruises around the Caribbean basin and seen some of the islands (Cuba, Jamaica, Barbados, and more) that way.
Meeting Lushies while travelling can't really happen since my wife does not know about Lush. Though I do sometimes travel to the US alone for conferences related to work so who knows? Maybe it can happen someday.
Yes, most of Western Europe, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Canada, Mexico. Would love to visit Eastern Europe and more of Asia.
1. Yes, have a passport
2. It's going to be a very list... so to sum up, most of the Gulf region, most of Europe, Scandinavias, covered a few places in APAC including India, Sri Lanka, a couple of Africas
3. No
i got a passport in 2007. some friends and i were going to take a trip to mexico before i started law school. they decided instead that we should go to the shittiest town in florida for vacation. i never left the country, the passport expired, depressingly marking the passage of a decade, and i never got it renewed.
i've never been west of the mississippi. i've been as far north as michigan, south to florida, west to st. louis and east to the coast, but never outside the US.
I have been to all 50 states and I believe the count is now 21 countries
I have never met anyone from Lush, although someone from Lush got very close to me one time, without my knowledge or consent. I have met a couple of people that used to be on Lush.
Passport: yes
Countries: 22, most of them EU members, one left the EU later on (you may have heard about it), a few were not members yet the first time I visited them and three have never been EU members.
Lushie: yes, one; we met in four different countries, three foreign to me, and one foreign to both.
=== Not ALL LIVES MATTER untilBLACK LIVES MATTER ===
Visited: 8
Been in (on the ground in) 2 others: one just in the airport flying through and one just on a train passing through.
I doubt I've met a Lushie while traveling, wouldn't know it if I had, so I'll say no.
While playing pool, never underestimate the importance of The Break! My friend Alicia came over for a friendly game, and her killer break turned me on so much I just had to take her right there on the pool table!
