I put "masochism" in the left most search field, entitled "Search" and clicked Go. The items that showed up might be matches, but "masochism" was not any of their tags. Same thing when I put "pain" in that field. What is Search looking at?

Those words were used in stories thus you got them as suggestions.

Hi

I have a problem with the site again. Whenever I click on a tag like babysitter redhead any I get the suggestions but only the first page when I press !"next" at the botten of the page I get back to allt he stories to 2/4456. How can I go to the 2nd 3rd page of the tag i'm searching in?

@TJP. It's a bug. I've reported it.

For the time being you can manually hack it by visiting the URL after you've clicked on the Next button. Where it says (for example) 'tags=babysitter' change it to 'tag=babysitter' and hit enter. It'll refilter the list with the correct tag and show page 2. Unfortunately you'll need to do this on each page you click Next to see. Hopefully that's an easy one for the developers to fix.

Please browse my digital bookshelf. In this collection, you can find 111 full stories, 10 micro-stories, and 2 poems with the following features:

* 29 Editor's Picks, 74 Recommended Reads.
* 15 competition podium places, 10 other times in the top ten.
* 21 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

The issue has been fixed, yay. Paginated tag searches work as they should. Big thanks to the developers for the prompt catch, and @TJP for raising it.

I can show you how to search for anything you want using Boolean logic. Not to divulge any preferences or anything, but lets say I wanted to find a story about a guy and one of his wife's friends in a hotel, while he or his wife are out of town. I can do that.

Or, I wanted to search search for a story in the lesbian genre about two people from a chatroom meeting at a coffeehouse, but I don't want to read about them talking about vibrators or dildos. I can do that to.

See the results for yourself by copying either of the search strings below and pasting them into your address bar, then hit Enter. All results will be links to Lush Stories, except the usual paid adds that appear on any search results page. (These work best on Google's search engine. If you use Bing they might not work as well.)

If you can figure our how they work on your own, great! Search to heart's desire. If you have trouble manipulating these to find exactly what you are looking for, shoot me a message, and I'll explain what to do. These are actually very basic searches. I can search for words that are within 6 words of each other, or search for words within the title of a story.

If you spend time looking for stuff online, not just here, you should really learn this simple skill. You would be amazed with how often it comes in handy, pun intended.....

Wife's friend, out of town at a hotel (copy text below and paste into address bar):

site:www.lushstories.com/stories/ ("wife's friend" OR "wife's best friend" OR "friend of my wife" OR "wife's bff" OR "knows my wife") AND ("out of town" OR "on vacation" OR "went to see her" OR "visiting her" OR "business trip") AND (motel OR hotel)

Lesbians from a chatroom meet for coffee, but no dildos please (copy text below and paste into address bar):

site:www.lushstories.com/stories/lesbian/ ("chat site" OR "chat room" OR chatroom OR "internet site") (cafe OR "coffee shop" OR bistro OR starbucks OR coffeehouse) -dildo

Happy to help if you're having trouble getting your searches to work. It's easy, you'll get it.

Happy hunting!

If you click on a link from the search results page, and it takes you to a Lush Stories page saying "Page Not Found", go back to the search results page and click on the 3 vertical dots next to the url of that story. You should then see the option to click 'Cached' and read the story from there.

Another tip, when clicking on stories from the results page, hold CTRL when you click the link. This will open the story in a new tab, and you can continue to review the list of results for more stories to open. I will typically open 7-8 stories from my results page before diving into them. This allows me to hop right to the next story if the one I am on isn't really what I was looking for at the time.

Thanks for this and the one before. I'm familiar with boolean logic. I just had no idea you could use it the search here!

It does not work in the search engine on this site, you need to put the search string in the address bar with:

site: in front of the www.lushstories.com/stories to tell google to only search that directory.

site:www.lushstories.com/stories/ "at god's defense"

Try that one.

And thanks again!
