I don't trust them less than anyone else. I do like to see something that I can relate to them, it is better when it comes to memory. I'm probably one of very few that don't hide Lush from anyone. My family and friends as well as acquaintances on other social sites know I'm on here and have read my writings, I tend to be very open. Not everyone can parade around on a site like this.... Red and whites don't make it to my page though, that's just lazy!
Honestly, people who have no pics on their profile seem more trustworthy than (most, not all!) people who have dozens of pics of themselves set to public. After having been here for a while, I prefer to just send pictures to people that I've gotten to know and want to share my lovely self with.R6ciuNdw9zhj4jOc

I think you should post something for your Avatar, not just the default. Give us something to know you better.
For privacy reasons, I only use and avatar that doesn't show my face. Yes, it's me, just not all of me. I'm not in a situation where I can be open about being on Lush.
I actually prefer a bit of mystery. While it's nice to see someone's face once we have had a chance to get to know one another a bit, picture after picture of equipment seems over t he top.
I’m one that doesn't put my photo out there ever, I just won’t. That’s my choice. I know a lot of people who do, and a lot who don’t. I also know a great deal who’ll only show certain parts, mostly there “goodies”. I never understood that, but to each their own.
I’m rather private, and I don’t want to expose myself on the internet more than I have to. I’m not like this with just photos, my name, and even where I live I keep fairly private also. I come here to write, make some friends, and have a good time. I don’t find it necessary to plaster myself out there for the world to see. Those who I want, and choose to see the “real” Poppet, will, when and if I ever want. The odds are slim to none, however.
I agree with a few others who said they don’t for they don’t want their real world friends, families, coworkers and so on to find them, and can you really blame them? I can’t.
I think its fine if some want to, but I think people need to respect those who don’t, and so many don’t respect those who don’t want to. I hate nothing more than one someone pushes me to tell them my name; there is nothing wrong with calling me Poppet. It’s a rather good name, I think. :3

Personally, it doesn't really bother me if they have pics up or not. Like others have mentioned, I think it's better to at least change your avatar to something other than the generic red and white one. Honestly, I prefer seeing someones bio over pictures.
It is their choice, personally I haven't taken any photos of myself or been in any for years. My work takes me many places and that is what photos I have an use. Did catch some hell from a member for not having photos or playlist up, but its a choice we make for ourselves.
I think they have respect for themselves.
