i have noticed in the past week or two that when i am on lush some of the words are in green and if i scroll across them some message pops up. it has only just started doing this and wondering if this is new to lush or is it something outside of lush?

actually, we asked Gav to make sure it only happens on your account... this one has me scratching my head, honestly. it's not something that i've been seeing or should, as far as i know, be happening. smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

ok in your response the word account is green and underlined and when i scroll over it a pop up shows saying " sales job oppurtunities" check aol

Kill it - with fire! Unless you're using a Mac - perhaps one of the ApplePros can suggest some spyware remover for you.

Your computer registry is most likely infected.
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
Try a different browser first. If the issue continues, then yea. Most likely malware or some devilish thing.

If it doesn't show up on another browser, de-bug and clear out the cookies/cache/etc on that browser.

If you're unlucky...you'll need to run a virus scan.
thank you mad, it is no big problem but like the words " virus scan" a pop up comes up says best virus scan, click here. i have google chrome and MacAfee, is that good or bad

Check your extensions in Chrome and disable anything that doesn't look right. smile
Or - just disable all of them, restart the browser and check if it's still there. If not, enable one by one until you find the offender and delete it.
If it's none of the extensions, try a good malware scanner - They couldn't give McAfee away!

Avast - for anti-virus
Spybot S&D or Malwarebytes - for adware/spyware.

Trust me; I'm a geek.
Yea. Listen to Liz.

McAfee is shit. Absolute shit. It'll mess you up just downloading it.

John McAfee himself. He wrote the software and even HE hates it!

(That really is him.)

The day i bought my xps was the day I purged ,McAfee, serious, its crap and slows your computer down.

Yes it is him, and I believe he needs the guns for real as well!

Yay!

I promise you and every person here, whilst I'm in charge, I'll never have inline text advertising on here. Never. EVER! I hate it. Almost as much as pop-ups...and pop-unders...and pop tarts...

I had a similar issue myself, a year or so ago. My browser was hijacked by some horrible malware from a self installing plugin which had somehow been dropped onto my laptop. I have McAfee too, it doesn't work.

Had the same thing here too.... I read down the thread and was going to let you know what it was, but you already got it. My reaction was exactly like yours was. LOL
