Yes. Poll attached.

Every. Single. Time. I load it, it updates to a new version.

iTunes comes a close second I'd say. It's like the software equivalent of Syphilis.

Yes. We've always called it 'Skip'.

Oddly, I have had little issue with Skype and we use it fairly often now that our son lives out of town. Not sure what I would call most annoying ever. There's been a lot that have bugged me over the years, both at work and in personal life.

It seems like Apple is pushing iTunes somewhat less these days, but in the past it seemed like they tried to get it involved in anything you did on you Mac. Absolutely horrible!

I haven't used Skype myself in recent years. We use it at work for conference calls, but I just let the project managers deal with that on their accounts as they're the clients' main contact person anyway.

Not just on Mac. If you installed Windows Quicktime client, too. I haven't needed it since going to Win10 so not sure if it is still that way or not.

We are just getting on to Office 365 and Skype for Business at work but other companies in our group are already on so I'm starting to use it for meetings with them. Skype for Business is going away next year, being roll into Teams (which can already do voice and video, it's just most people are more familiar with Skype).

I used it for a couple years until it stopped compatibility with my GF's Mac. Now it's just some crap I sometimes see mentioned on the internet.

I love Skype. It gives me the opportunity to keep in touch with friends from Australia and Ireland for free and my boyfriend here. I’ve had issues from time to time with it but nothing that I couldn’t resolve. But iTunes is a pain in the butt. I’ve wasted more time trying to retrieve lost things that they should be paying me.

I miss ICQ. I'll always associate that "Uh Oh" with my Baileykins, as that's primarily how we communicated before she moved in. Especially after the thousand dollar phone bill. LOL

I had Skype for about fifteen minutes, in hopes I could use it as my email alert when they killed off messenger. I instantly hated it and went on an extermination run to get rid of it. The raging disease that is Itunes has never, and never will be on anything I own.

If you want to talk about a frustrating program related to Skype, Netmeeting beats it hands down. Complicated and wonky as hell.

I hadn't messed around with Trillian since 2004. Used to be handy to use it to communicate with friends who used AOL/Yahoo and a few other programs. Then Yahoo and Trillian had a row & quit communicating and I drifted away from it.

Found Skype in 2004, played with it a bit. Never caught on with me or my friends. Then I learned MicroSoft acquired it and I swore I'd never download it again.

Interestingly, I checked out Trillian earlier this summer. 15 yrs later, it's the shiznit.
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
