I'm looking for a PC version chat option that doesn't save the chats or keep a chat log once you've ended the application. I've looked at a number of apps but haven't found one that meets the criteria I have. Oh, and I have to be able to embed links for jpg's and gifs.
Any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's only 3 things I can think of that might do the job.
1. Run a Virtual Machine with IRC running on it so you can force wipe the system logs to leave no information.
2. Buy a site, configure a web server and force purge the logs on a regular basis.
3. Run something on Tor, possibly connecting to your own web server for security.
Thing to bear in mind there are people out there watching what goes on and running super secure comms systems might result in a visit from either counter terrorism or organised crime investigatory folks.
